New York Liberty Legend Kym Hampton will take part in a “Reading Time-Out” event with youth at the Brooklyn Public Library’s Leonard Library as part of the “Fast Break To Reading Program” with the WNBA and Pitney Bowes, August 25, from 2-3:15 p.m.

The New York Liberty is one of the six WNBA teams that is participating in a season-long initiative to educate youth about reading and to engage fans while raising funds for local, community-based literacy programs.

Pitney Bowes’s participation with the WNBA will help build or renovate a Reading and Learning Center at the end of the season in the community of the team that raises the most funds for literacy.

The Leonard Library is located at 81 Devoe Street between Leonard & Lorimer streets in Williamsburg.
