Paerdegat Park at the corner of Albany Avenue and Farragut Road was awash with summer fun last week when members of the Citizens for a Better Community held their Seventh Annual Fun Day.

Taking over the park Saturday, there was plenty of sports, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, free food and giveaways to be had as well as an assortment health information they can obtain.

Organizers also put on a special talent show for kids ages three to 16.

The entire fun-filled day will be filmed on BCAT television.
