Members of the Midwood Senior Center polished up on their vocal chords and put out a welcome mat for Uncle Junior when the Sopranos star stopped by for a sing-song and a chat.

Dominic Chianese, who plays Corrado “Junior” Soprano on the hit HBO television series, arrived to a warm Brooklyn welcome at the elder facility, 4815 Avenue I, where the two-time Emmy Award-nominated film, television and theater actor, and lounge singer, performed for the crowd.

Seniors joined Chianese, a Brooklyn College graduate, who once sang, “A Fool Such as I” at the Grand Ole Opry, in a medley of popular and classical favorites, and even tripped the light fantastic on the dance floor.

Chianese got his start as a musical-comedy performer, and continues to perform as a cabaret singer of standards, ballads and Italian folk songs.
