East 32nd Street, between Tilden and Snyder avenues, is looking lush and verdant, thanks to the proud handiwork of its green-thumbed homeowners.

Boosted by their selection as a finalist in the annual Mollie Parnis Dress-Up Your Neighborhood contest, members of the Tilder Block Association polished up on the elbow grease and, set about sprucing up their neck of the woods in hopes of winning yet another accolade for their horticultural finesse.

Seniors, adults, teens and tots joined forces to cultivate and plant the tree beds as part of a community project “to green, beautify and unite the neighborhood.”

In the past, the association has won several awards for its horticultural finesse, including the annual Dress Up Your Neighborhood contest.

The winner of the Millie Parnis contest will be announced on June 9.
