Under the evening sky with the Brooklyn Bridge overhead, restaurants throughout Brooklyn will come together at 6 p.m. (VIP admission)/7 p.m. (Premium & General admissions), May 20 at the Tobacco Warehouse for the American Cancer Society’s Second Annual Eat, Drink & Be Hopeful fundraiser.

The event will be a night to celebrate the progress the American Cancer Society has made in the fight against cancer and instill hope that a cure for this disease will be found. Unfortunately, more than 10,000 people in Brooklyn are diagnosed with cancer each year. The American Cancer Society serves the Brooklyn community by giving expert, personal help for individuals with cancer.

All funds raised benefit the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving research, education, advocacy, and patient services.

Attendees of Eat, Drink & Be Hopeful will be able to savor delectable signature dishes prepared by top chefs from Brooklyn’s hottest restaurants, sip sensational wines, spirits and craft beers from New York and beyond, and win premiere lifestyle and culinary prizes in a live auction and raffle.

Those joining the VIP reception, hosted by Brooklyn’s own Daisy Martinez of Daisy Cooks! and Master Sommelier Darrin Siegfried, will enjoy special tastings, sparklers from Martha Clara Vineyard and the classical sounds of the First Street Quintet.

Enter the Tobacco Warehouse at Water & New Dock streets.
