Proving that brothers-in-arms always look out for one another, members of the Rankin-Healy VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post paid a friendly visit to the vets, currently hospitalized at the VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place in Bay Ridge.

Members of the Post were more than happy to help out their fellow veterans with a few toiletry items, good cheer and lots of camaraderie, and the American heroes — upon whose shoulders this nation’s freedom rests — were grateful for the care and concern shown to them.

For information about membership in the Rankin-Healy VFW Post, 9312 Fourth Avenue, contact Post President Angel Rios at 718-836-1063 or email
