Health-smart boroughites have a new place to spring into action in – a New York Sports Club on 86th Street.

Local dignitaries joined NYSC officials and staff members to launch the full-service gymnasium at 439 86th Street with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The branch offers personal training, group cardio and strength-training classes, premier equipment and outdoor swimming pools, in addition to other health-related programs and services.

For budding fitness buffs, the Sports Clubs for Kids programs and classes are of various durations.

Club hours are: Monday-Friday, 6 a.m., to 11 p.m.; and weekends, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
