The Brooklyn Bridge celebrated its 125th birthday on Thursday night with a gorgeous fireworks show. Funny, but she doesn’t look a day over 80!

Jack Taggart from Elkins Park, PA says:
Congratulations to Brookln Borough and the City of New York, and the many sponsors for providing a first rate event--complete with birthday cake for all attendees at the May 22 Celebration at Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park. The NYFD fireboats, the concert and later, the spectacular fireworks, provided an awesome spectacle for our vigorous, stately 125 year old honoree. Special thanks to the courteous support staff. All in all- a splendid evening!
