Apple products are hot commodities for Northside crooks again last week, with at least two of Steve Jobs’s friends getting separated from their fruit:
• Thieves broke into an apartment on Herbert Street between Humboldt and North Henry streets on March 30, snatching two Apple laptops while the victim was at work — sometime between 3 pm and midnight, cops said.
• Burglars snatched high-end electronics from a Wythe Avenue apartment on April 4, while the victim slept, sometime between 3 am and 4 am. Once inside the apartment, between Metropolitan Avenue and North Third Street, they snatched a black Apple laptop and a Sony digital camera.
