Harris Radio will celebrate the release of its new compilation CD, "Bridge to Music: Indie Sounds from Brooklyn’s Underground," on Oct. 17 at 9 pm with a listening party at Patio Lounge, 179 Fifth Ave. at Lincoln Place in Park Slope.

The CD features 16 original tracks by musicians living in Brooklyn, including Williamsburg’s Valeze (pictured) who contributes "Please Me." The CD is available for purchase exclusively over the Internet at www.harrisradio.com/brooklyncd. Proceeds from the $12 CD will benefit the United Nations World Food Programme Africa Hunger Alert. The event is free and open to the public.
