The City Parks Foundation presents "Sleeping Beauty," a production of Puppets in the Parks, on Aug. 1, at 11 am, in Brower Park (Brooklyn Avenue at Prospect Place). The production travels the five boroughs of the city in a "puppetmobile" (pictured), equipped with a stage and the staff of puppeteers.

The foundation also operates the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre in Central Park, where it is staging "Hansel & Gretel" through Aug. 15.

In case of rain, "Sleeping Beauty" will be moved to the adjacent Brooklyn Children’s Museum, 145 Brooklyn Ave. at St. Marks Place in Crown Heights. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, go to or call (212) 360-1399.
