The opening of
the 21st annual Brooklyn Working Artists Coalition sculpture
show in Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park will be celebrated with
live music on July 19. Jan Bell will host the lineup on the Little
Red Hen Music Stage, while visitors peruse the works of 30 artists,
including John Jerard’s Mandala (pictured). The show was curated
by Ursula Clark and Richard Brachman.
The marathon reception for the show, with the theme, "What’s
going on," will run from noon to 6 pm. The exhibit will
be on display from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, daily, through Sept. 14.
