Cabaret diva Mary Cleere Haran, who has performed at Manhattan’s Russian Tea Room and Oak Room, will bring her gift of song to the Prospect Park Picnic House on Oct. 11 for a fundraiser to benefit the park.

The event, to begin at 7 pm, will benefit the spring 2002 opening of the Audubon Center at the Boathouse. The program, titled "A Tree in the Park" after the 1926 Rodgers and Hart song, will be catered by 12th Street Bar & Grill, Two Little Red Hens and Brooklyn Brewery, all of whom are donating their services and goods. Tickets begin at $200. Valet parking will be provided. To make your reservation, call the Prospect Park Alliance at (718) 965-8988.
