The hottest new bar in the city is right here in DUMBO. On April 27, the Water Street Bar’s (66 Water St. between Dock and Main streets) grand opening party drew hundreds from the increasingly trendy nabe and way beyond. Opened by four Irish ex-pats, the huge bar blends a traditional oak bar feel with industrial finishes. There’s a great lounge area downstairs and a DJ booth suspended between the two levels. In the back of the main bar area, is a whisky room with fireplace. Comment
