Dry-ice truck flips on Gowanus Expressway ramp, injuring one

Transit: A tractor-trailer filled with dry ice flipped over on a ramp connecting the Gowanus and Brooklyn–Queens expressways on Friday morning, injuring one person, according to a Fire Department rep. Comment
Development: The developer of 80 Flatbush trimmed its 986- and 561-foot towers to 840 and 510 feet respectively, while reconfiguring the taller high-rise’s design so it blocks less sunlight, and promising to give thousands to improve a nearby community garden, to get lawmakers to okay the rezoning it needs to build the complex at the edge of Boerum Hill.
